Kiss Me You Fool

I think it might be one of the nicest panels I've ever drawn.

Good Canadian pop/rock. Although, "Secrets of the Alibi", the album before this one, was their best.

Now Everybody's Me

This isn't the "official" Mii of myself in our Wii but I may go back in and change it to this. I like this one more, I think.

This post's title comes from a song on the Dead Milkmen album, "Metaphysical Graffiti"

It Is Accomplished

A very cool thing happened this weekend. After 4 years of collaboration and friendship, I finally met A. David Lewis in person!

Mr. Lewis was in town for all of about 26 hours. Talk about a whirlwind trip. He was presenting one of his papers at a local college and we managed to coerce him to crash at our house on the Friday night. We had a gourmet dinner of ordered in pizza, played some Wii and even talked comics. He even managed to pry all the pages to our second Mortal Coil story, "What Gazes Also" outta my hands.

Sadly, we didn't take any pictures while he was here but we have his Mii stored in our Wii that will be a constant reminder of his stay here at the Copland Estate! Jackie, Stewart and I treasured the chance to spend some time with Dave and we are looking forward to his return trip.... someday.

The title of this post comes from Peter Gabriel's Passion: Music From The Last Temptation of Christ.
An amazing soundtrack that makes for wonderful drawing music.

Sick Again

Wait. Don't bury me. I'm still alive.

I'm slowly emerging from the land of the living dead. I've been very ill for the past couple of weeks and I'm just now starting to feel like my good old self again. I was knocked out with a strange mix of cold, flu and vertigo. Believe me, it sucked ass.

But, I did get a chance to see some hockey, especially now that we have our satellite hooked up! My Thrashers were already out of the playoffs by the time we got the TV set up, though.

Sigh. What are ya goin' do?
